Young Kuttipuli actor put behind bars

Bala Saravanan, a prominent small screen actor who made his film debut with Muthaiah's Kuttipuli as a comedian, has been arrested in relation to a car accident case which resulted in the death of a 4 year old girl child by the name Uma Maheswari, in Madurai. 

 
Bala was driving his car in the Azhagar Kovil street when Uma Maheswari was knocked over by the car when she was trying to cross the road. She sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the nearby Government Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
 
The Melavalavu police are investigating this case and Bala's camp would be hoping that the young actor would be released soon, for he has offers such as Pannayarum Padminiyum on hand. 
 
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of little Uma and pray that her soul rests in peace.
