SURIYA

Not for the first time did Bala turn around an actor’s career, as Suriya would get a first-hand account of the director’s touch. It was also the first time that Suriya experimented with his look as he rid himself of the sweet boy face that he had worn all this while and delivered a gritty performance. It was a classic tale of a boy turning into a man and Suriya would only grow from strength to strength here.
