On that account, Ilayathalapathy Vijay was impressed with the making of Mankatha and appreciated Venkat Prabhu for the remarkable work he had done. He apparently even invited the director for lunch as a gesture of appreciation to the potential hit maker.
 

It must be noted that Venkat Prabhu is a good friend of Vijay and has acted with him in Sivakasi. It would be very interesting to watch a Venkat Prabhu flick with Vijay playing the lead. It surely would be a cracker which would be as loud as what Mankatha was.
