Team Thalaivaa denied permission
Aug 17, 2013Team Thalaiva, led by producer Chandraprakash Jain and director Vijay had requested the Commissioner of Police, permission to protest against the delay in the release of their film. But we are now being informed that the team has been denied permission to go on a fast.
Yesterday, the producer, director and composer GV Prakash approached Commissioner S Geoge with a petition requesting permission. The letter stated that the core team, involving lead actors Vijay, Amala Paul and Sathyaraj and the technical crew would want to go on a protest against the delay in the release of Thalaivaa.
The petition, which was redirected to the Additional Commissioner of Police RS Nallasivam, was turned down immediately, say reports.
