There is news all over the media about the delay in the release of Thalaivaa and the problems surrounding it. The fans of Ilayathapalathy are upset because of the delay and so is the man himself. However, the issue has not affected the progress in the filming of Jilla, which is a Vijay starrer as well.
 

Jilla will also feature Malayalam super star, Mohanlal, who apparently plays Vijay’s godfather in the movie. Nesan is directing the movie under the banner Super Good Films. Kajal Aggarwal, who has already acted with Vijay in Thuppakki, will be playing the female lead.
 

Although Vijay is disappointed with the Thalaivaa release issue, he has been professional enough to keep it to himself and not let it affect his performance in Jilla. The shoot of Jilla, which is happening in full flow, has been stopped just for today because of the rains. It is said that Mohanlal will rejoin the team next month to complete his portions in the film.
