Siva kumar a.k.a Siruthai Siva is celebrating his birthday today. The cinematographer who has cranked the camera in Telugu movies like Boss, Gowtam SSC and Nenunnanu made his directorial debut in Telugu in Souryam.
 

His first film as a director in Tamil was Siruthai, which had Karthi and Tamannah as the lead pair. The success of the movie gained him the moniker, ‘Siruthai Siva’.
 

Siva is now enjoying his outing with Ajith, directing Veeram, which would be Ajith’s next film after Arrambam. The director, who looks like a villain with his hefty appearance and long ponytail, has been approached by other directors for villain roles. However, he wishes to stick to making movies which is his profound passion.
 

Although he carries a villainous appearance, Siva is a simple and soft spoken person. Now the director has apparently taken the advice of Thala Ajith and has decided to lose a few pounds.
