There are a lot of facebook and twitter profiles in the name of actor Karthi, claiming that it is the profile of the actor himself. 

Karthi had apparently been receiving calls from friends asking about his social media profiles and about a fund raising activity he had recently initiated. Karthi cautioned his fans against such hoaxes and clarified the same in a recent interview.
 

"Many people have asked me if I am in Facebook or Twitter. I am not in any social network. There are many fake ids in my name. Please do not trust them. I have also been getting calls from Malaysia and France that I have initiated a few fund raising activities. Please note that, I have not done any fund raising activity through Agaram or through my fans. Please don’t believe hoaxes such as this. Please be aware. Thank you. "
