Karthi is all geared up for his next flicks, now that Biriyani and All in All Azhaguraja are nearing their respective releases. Director Kannan, who has given movies like Vandhaan Vendran and Settai, has managed to get the nod of Karthi for his next script, which would be a proper commercial affair, penned by the director himself.

After having had actresses like Taapsee Pannu, Hansika Motwani, Tamannah and Anjali play the lead in his previous movies, Kannan has spread his eyes all over the latest hit movies in Tamil, in an attempt to cast the heroine for this movie.

P.G.Muthaiah would be the cinematographer for this Kannan film as well, while the hunt for the music director is on. The shoots of this film would begin only after 6 months as Karthi has committed for a film with Attakathi director Ranjith, as reported earlier.

Meanwhile, the Hari - Karthi film has been shelved due to certain issues which couldn't be sorted out.
