The music of Vanakkam Chennai composed by Anirudh has come out amidst huge expectation. After his successful ‘Moonu’ and ‘Ethir Neechal’, this was expected to be his hat-trick. And as expected, the album has been topping the charts since it was released and the album was also one of the most trending subjects on Twitter.

Now, the producer of Vanakkam Chennai, Udhayanidhi Stalin has proudly shared that the album is also topping the itunes list.
 

This type of welcome usually happens to top composers like AR Rahman and for a young composer such as Anirudh to achieve this in such a short span, is very impressive.  
 

Meanwhile, Vanakkam Chennai is the maiden project of director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Featuring Shiva, Priya Anand and Santhanam in the lead, the film is a romantic-musical-comedy.
