Just In: Veteran lyricist Vaali critical
Jul 17, 2013 Lyricist Vaali has been undergoing some health issues for a long time now. Following further deterioration in his health, the veteran was admitted at the Apollo Hospital, Chennai. He is presently put on ventilator.
Kamal Haasan and AR Rahman were the first ones to rush to the hospital, say sources. However, AR Rahman wasn’t allowed to meet the lyricist as the latter was then under examination.
Even at the age of 81, Vaali is adored for his adaptability to the new trend. His recent works include the Ethir Neechal title track, Netru Aval Irundhal and Sonapareeya from Maryan.
