Dhanush's Maryan, releasing this weekend, has raked up expectations for Dhanush fans and movie goers in general. Bharat Bala's direction, Rahman's score and Dhanush's gritty appearance contribute widely to this. The official trailer, released in May, is phenomenal in bringing in more attention and is seemingly scoring high in the popularity charts.
 

The YouTube promo is fast inching in on the 2 million hits mark. Slickly cut and edited, the trailer is also sparking off lively discussions in the YouTube community. The specialty of this video clip being  Dhanush's deep sea diving with a spear in hand. According to production sources, this scene was shot in Andamans, 50 feet into the ocean. Dhanush is a non-swimmer and a crew of international divers trained the actor for the scene. Meanwhile, few new promos of the movie, including the making of the song Enga Pona Raasa are out online recently, preceding the movie's release this weekend.
