Dhanush's Maryan - Chennai Theater round-up
Jul 19, 2013Dhanush's Maryan opens today all over the world and the movie has received a wide release, thanks to the presence of a stellar lead cast, the brilliant crew and the impact that the trailer created in the minds of the audience.
In Chennai City, the film opens in big screens such as Devi, Sangam, Udhayam, Kamala and Woodlands. In Sangam complex, even Padmam is screening the movie while the smaller screen in the Kamala complex is also reserved for Maryan. In the all important Sathyam complex, Maryan gets the second biggest screen, Santham, as Singam 2 is still rock-steady in the biggest screen.
Mayajaal will be screening about 25 to 40 shows of Maryan this weekend based on the demand from the public. Maryan will be the first choice movie of the week in other multiplexes such as PVR, Fame, Inox, AGS and Abirami, with plenty of special shows planned.
The Auro 3D version of the movie will be screened in very limited shows across a few screens in Chennai city such as 6 Degrees, Mayajaal and Sundar.
In all, Maryan looks set for a good opening this weekend if the all important word-of-mouth from the masses is positive.
