Chennai Express goes out of reach !!!
Aug 25, 2013We have been reporting about the collection exploits of Chennai Express regularly over the past few weeks. Having recently surpassed the box-office figures of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to emerge as the biggest grosser of 2013, Chennai Express has now crossed the grand '3 Idiots' total as well, to emerge as the biggest ever Bollywood grosser.
Even in its third week, after the release of films such as OUATIMD and Madras Cafe, Chennai Express continues to collect handsomely and at the end of yesterday's business, the total Indian net collections are 206.28 crores. Now, this new benchmark has been set pretty high and it would take a lot of positive reviews and an unbelievable opening for future biggies to outdo what Chennai Express has been doing over the past fortnight or so.
Congrats to SRK, Deepika Padukone, Rohit Shetty and the entire team of Chennai Express.
