This points to the hype and expectations for the movie that almost all the prominent screens in the city are screening a couple of shows of Chennai Express, one each in the evening and night slots. Sathyam and Escape multiplexes are already sold out for these preview shows while even traditionally non-Hindi screens such as Ganga, Rakki, Murugan, Vidhya, Shanthi and Vetri have scheduled preview shows. Ega, Devi, Sangam, Abirami, PVR, AGS, Mayajaal, Inox and Fame have also hopped onto the Chennai Express preview bandwagon.

 

With such a positive pre-release buzz all across the world, the sky is the limit for this SRK starrer. With his reputation as the 'Baadshah' in India and overseas markets, extra-ordinary collections are expected. The domestic net is expected to touch 150 crores easily while the overseas business is touted to touch 100 crores if the audience takes well to the film.
