There had been talks that Neetu Chandra had been roped in for a Hollywood film titled “Island of the blue dolphins”. The movie was said to be directed by Joe Johnston who has directed movies like ‘Jumanji’ and ‘Captain America’.
 

The actress, who has sizzled in movies like ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’ and ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’, was said to be auditioned for the Hollywood movie via Skype.
 

However, director Joe Johnston’s team completely denies such an audition. They got in touch with Behindwoods clarifying us on the same.
 

“It has come to our attention that someone is pretending to be Joe in India and asking actresses to audition for him personally over Skype. The person doing this is not Joe Johnston. He does not have an upcoming project called "Island of the Blue Dolphins."
 

He is not auditioning actresses in India over Skype. While he wishes her career much success, Joe does not know Neetu Chandra and has never met her or communicated with her. He has not auditioned her for any part, nor is she slated to be in his next movie.
 

The people spreading those lies are malicious and phony fakes. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact Joe's agents at Resolution. Joe is speaking out about this for the protection of young women hoping to have acting careers in India. Please do your homework. Call agents. If someone seems intrusive, acts like a fraud by asking you to audition for them without being gracious enough to show you their own face, and/or won't give you solid answers or uses a power play to coerce you into getting on Skype with them, they are almost certainly a fake.
 

Joe is looking to get Interpol involved in this if necessary.”
