An important new beginning with Kaaviya Thalaivan
Aug 07, 2013After the success of Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Siddharth was busy shooting for Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda in areas around Madurai. With non-stop schedules, Siddharth has completed work for his portions of Jigarthanda and he is now ready to commence Kaaviya Thalaivan, Vasanthabalan's period saga. The shoots are kicking off tomorrow in Karaikudi.
A.R.Rahman is scoring music for the film which also stars Prithviraj, Nassar, Vedhika and Anaika. Y NOT Studios will be producing the film which has already grabbed our eyeballs. Kaaviya Thalaivan will also feature a couple of songs written by the late Vaali.
We wish Vasanthabalan comes up with another memorable movie along the lines of Veyyil and Angadi Theru. His last release, Aravaan, was an ambitious period movie which received its share of appreciation too.
