Bollywood movies have always been on a race, competing with each other and setting records in different aspects such as publicity innovations, collections in the box office and much more. Amongst these aspects, the industry also keeps a close watch on the grandeur in the opening.
 

Movies like Ra One, Don 2, Ek tha tiger, and 3 Idiots were released in a large number of theaters in India and across the globe. Distribution teams are always eyeing at releasing every movie in a larger spectrum than the previously released movies.
 

According to reports, Chennai Express will apparently be the greatest Indian release in India and overseas, releasing in over 4200 screens (over 3500 screens in India and over 700 screens abroad).
 

Chennai Express is a Shahrukh Khan starrer, who has acted opposite Deepika Padukone. The movie will also feature South Indian actor Sathyaraj, who apparently plays the role of a local don in Tamilnadu. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty, who has already directed movies like Golmaal, Singham and Bol Bachchan.
 

At the moment, 4200 does seem to be a huge number for an Indian movie, as far as the number of screens is concerned. But, with movies like Krrish 3 and Dhoom 3 queued up for release, the number will never cease to increase.
