Dhanush enters the coveted 100 crore league
Jul 24, 2013Dhanush's Raanjhanaa has earned the honor of crossing the 100 crores gross mark in worldwide collections. The film has collected well in India as well as in overseas markets such as the US and hence this coveted mark has been breached.
Till date, in India the domestic net is 62.75 crores, after deducting entertainment taxes in the various states of the country. The film was made on a budget of 35 crores and it has completed a 5 week run in most of the major circuits in the country. Raanjhanaa's Tamil dubbed version, Ambikapathy, also did decent business in Chennai City.
Dhanush's realistic performance and A,R,Rahman's spellbinding music were the major highlights of the movie.
We wish Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Rahman and the captain of the ship, Aanand Rai for this well-deserved success.
