Just In: Manjula Vijayakumar is no more ...
Jul 23, 2013Manjula, wife of actor Vijayakumar, passed away today, the 23rd of July, at around 11 40 in the morning. She was 59 and had been admitted to the SRMC (Sri Ramachandra Medical Center, Porur, Chennai) where she breathed her last. Her body has been kept for public homage at her Chennai residence and the cremation is expected to happen this evening.
Manjula Vijayakumar had acted in many films across Tamil and Telugu and some of her marquee films were Rickshawkaran and Ulagam Sutrum Valiban with MGR. Following her marriage to Vijayakumar, the couple had three daughters - Vanitha, Preetha and Sridevi and all these three were actresses at different points of time.
She was recently spotted at the Singam 2 special show hosted by Behindwoods at Fame National in Chennai.
Behindwoods prays for her soul to rest in peace and offers its condolences to her family in this time of grief.
