A case against Vijayakumar and Manjula has been filed by the police under The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Based on the complaint filed by their daughter Vanitha, the case has been registered and both the actors have moved the court for an anticipatory bail to evade being arrested.
The family feud between the parents and the estranged daughter came to the fore last month and has been continuing since then with both parties washing their dirty linen in public.
When the anticipatory bail application came up for hearing the advocates of both the parties were present. The case has been posted for hearing on December 13th, 2010.
