TENALIRAMAN SONGS REVIEW

The album begins on a nostalgic note with a lively composition sung by the talented Shreya Ghoshal. The string section, tabla and percussions create a yesteryear ambience but however, the track lacks vigor for the listener to thoroughly enjoy it. Shreya Ghoshal delivers par excellence. The interludes are nicely blended with the Black and White era musical instruments such as the Clarinet and vintage Flute.

This is an uptempo track with great use of clarinet and good percussions. Krishnaraj performs the song in character with confident singing and peculiar lyrics. Again, Imman continues to stick to his nostalgic sound for this album.

An eerily composed female solo with Andrea Jeremiah on the vocals carrying a strange Arabic flavor in terms of percussions, strings and even the rendition.

A brilliantly composed male solo track based on the Sindhu Bhairavi- a highly emotional raga. The singer Hariharasudan does complete justice to the track with his impactful singing. The interludes are nicely woven over string section, tabla and good rhythm. The track carries a great undercurrent energy throughout.

The album reaches its finale with a rustic track which has a great uplifting feel. Mukesh delivers an earthly rendition giving the track a fun touch. The orchestration is gripping with great rhythm. The track has a comic feel blended well throughout.
