Producer/director/actor Sasikumar who is doing the lead role in Thara Thappattai was in for a shock when people started approaching him for a status message that was purportedly under his name in a social networking platform seeking actors and actresses for director Bala’s film.

Speaking exclusively to behindwoods, Sasikumar says, “I am NOT in any social networking platform, be it Facebook or Twitter. Time and again I have reiterated this. And I have not advertised anywhere for actors or actresses for any film. Somebody has created a fake id in my name and had stated that I am seeking artists for Thara Thappatai. I have also informed people not to believe this and send their photos and details, especially girls. I don’t want people to fall a prey to this wrong act. I have  informed people about this.”
