VIVEK JOINS KAMAL, SHANKAR, VIJAY AND VIKRAM!

Comedian and character artist Vivek is a happy man. It’s just not because his next film Vai Raja Vai is hitting the screen this week. He is doubly happy because he will be honored with a doctorate by Sathyabama University, Chennai.

 

Sharing the happy news, Vivek tweeted, “Dear tweeples! I have something to share! Sathyabama University confers Doctorate on me for the contribution to society through arts. Baba blesses”

 

It is interesting to note that director Shankar and Ilayathalapathy Vijay, on earlier occasions, were awarded with honorary doctorates from the MGR University in 2007. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was also honored with a doctorate by the Sathyabama University in 2005. Chiyaan Vikram was conferred with honorary doctorate by the People's University of Milan in 2011.
