Vivek's characters in 'Thala 55', Velaiyilla Pattathari, and others

Actor Vivek has a slew of movies in his bag – Gautham Menon’s  ‘Thala 55’ aka ‘Sathya Dev’, starring Ajith, Trisha, and Anushka in the leads; Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai; Dhanush’s 25^th movie Velaiyilla Pattathari; and importantly the one in which he himself plays the lead, Naan Thaan Bala.

In a recent interview, the actor talked about his roles in these movies:

‘Thala 55’ - A competent cop (sidekick to Thala Ajith) who expresses himself humorously.

Vai Raja Vai - An IT guy who dabbles in gambling. Reportedly, halfway through the movie, his character changes colors.

Velaiyilla Pattathari - Dhanush’s mentor.

Naan Thaan Bala - An honest and simple Hindu priest.
