Mani Ratnam – Mahesh Babu project dropped

Here’s an information that might not excite the innumerable fans of director Mani Ratnam. The Kadal director was to direct a full on commercial action entertainer with a bunch of top stars of Indian cinema, including Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Shruti Haasan and Aishwarya Rai. The sound of the union instantly created curiosity among the fans and the information that we got now might not make the fans happier.
 

Trusted sources of Behindwoods inform that the project has been shelved for now. Crucial aspects didn’t fall into the right places for the project to go on, we hear.

The project was to have a few top class technicians, including AR Rahman and cinematographer Ravi Varman.

Official word from Mani Ratnam is yet to come.
