Mani Ratnam is mighty impressed with the 'Fools Gathering'

The director of Moodar Koodam, Naveen, was in for a pleasant surprise recently when ace director Mani Ratnam expressed an interest to see his debut movie. A special screening was arranged for Mani and his family at Four Frames theater in Chennai on Wednesday and the director was mighty impressed with Naveen's work, calling it 'great and different'.

Mani has also told Naveen that they would catch up some time later. Naveen calls it a real blessing and feels privileged to have interacted with the legendary Mani Ratnam.

"Mani Sir didn't speak much and just told that it was a great film. I am looking forward to interacting more with him when he calls me some time later. I am being invited by many clubs, sangams and colleges in relation to Moodar Koodam. Even non-film related organizations are inviting me as my film is being seen as a very important one with respect to the Tamil literary scene in general. Many noted Tamil writers have also appreciated me. I am currently on a thanksgiving tour to greet all the technicians and workers who contributed to the making of Moodar Koodam.
