Vijay makes it a Japanese hat-trick

The Jilla team, including the lead pair Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Kajal Agarwal, will be visiting Osaka and a few other spots in Japan to can a duet song sequence between the 23rd and 30th of this month.

Visiting foreign locales to can song sequences isn't a new trend in Tamil cinema and film units have been travelling to the far corners of the globe in their attempt to showcase new, fascinating locales on screen.

For Thuppakki, Vijay and Kajal shot in Switzerland for the song "Vennilave" and it was an exotic treat for the audience.

In recent times, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara and Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru also had their song sequences canned in Japan and Jilla will be a Japanese hat-trick for K-Town.

Imman is scoring for Jilla and he is joining hands again with Vijay, after Thamizhan way back in 2002. Super Good Films are producing Jilla on a grand scale and the movie is targeting a Pongal 2014 release.
