Fire ravages Mani Ratnam's warehouse
Jun 20, 2013 Mani Ratnam has encountered a huge loss in the form of a raging fire which ravaged his Godown / warehouse, located in T.Nagar, Chennai on the night of June 18. Fire personnel had to battle for close to 2 hours to finally control the fire but by that time the resultant losses were substantial.
Shooting equipment, set materials, camera stands, logs of wood, costumes, film roles, etc. were housed in this godown and now they have all been burnt. The Chennai Police are investigating the reasons behind this fire.
