The man who broke 19 bones for Superstar talks about working with Shankar

Action director, Peter Hein, known for his movies with director Shankar, in a recent interview, said that he regrets to have missed out on Ai, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. He said, “I could not work with director Shankar due to prior commitments. He (director Shankar) gives people the freedom to explore and come up with their best. It was he who catapulted my career to another level.”
 

Peter has worked in quite a few Shankar films such as Mudhalvan, Anniyan, Sivaji and Enthiran. It is to be noted that he broke 19 bones during the shoot of Enthiran, and as his mouth and hands couldn’t open, food had to be injected into him through the hip part of his body.
 

He is currently working in SS Rajamouli’s grand period flick – Baahubali, starring Prabhas, Rana, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty.
