Siva Karthikeyan had a very successful 2013. All his releases - Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Ethir Neechal, and Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam - turned out to cross the landmark 100 days. Behindwoods takes great pride in announcing this rising star as the recipient of the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Entertaining performance for the year 2013. The entertainer received the award from Bharathiraja.

He finally said, "I walked into the industry to entertain. Luckily it has worked for me, and there is a huge market for that as well. I just capitalized it. Nothing was planned.
