Will Vijay Antony kill or make peace ?

Vijay Antony's second film as a lead hero, Salim, is set for release tomorrow in around 400 screens across the country, including neighbouring Kerala and Karnataka. Tamil Nadu will be contributing close to 300 screens for the movie, with leading distributors such as Gopuram Films and Sri Production involved. Salim will also hit about 50 screens in the overseas space in key countries, through Suara Networks.

Salim would talk about an engaged pair who fall apart soon. Whether they reunite or whether the man kills his lady-love is what, the film's plot is about. Vijay Antony would be playing a doctor in the movie and there would be some continuity with respect to his role in Naan.

The Mumbai-based Aksha Pardasany plays the heroine and she has already done films in Telugu and Malayalam. Crane Manohar is also expected to have a very pivotal part in the movie.

Salim carries a U/A certificate with no cuts and just some dialogue mutes, and the movie would also have an underlying message against rape.
