Vijay Antony is already popular with Tamil cinema lovers for his foot tapping numbers but the composer is now on the cusp of achieving greater stardom thanks to his successful acting debut Naan.

Feeding on the confidence of Naan’s acclaim, Vijay Antony is quietly chipping away for his follow up film in the lead, Salim. The actor so far seems to be very happy with the way the film has shaped up and is eager to present the project in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

During a recent shooting schedule that took place outside the famous Kamala Theatre, Vijay Antony was swarmed by the adulation of fans who gathered in hundreds to catch a glimpse of the proceedings. During a break the crowd closed in on Vijay Antony to get his autograph or a picture for posterity’s sake. The numbers were so huge that it took the team hours to disperse the crowd and resume the shooting.

Vijay Antony peacefully obliged every fan’s request and handled the situation very well.
