Siva Karthikeyan in and as Rajini Murugan ?

Siva Karthikeyan's star value was shot to a whole different level after the superhit success of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam in 2013. He is set to team up with his VVS director Ponram for another movie this year, under Thirrupathi Brothers' production. We had a chat with director Ponram on his casting and filming plans for this movie.

 

"Soori and Siva Karthikeyan will team up again for this film and we haven't finalized the lead heroine yet. We were planning on Nazriya but she is getting married soon and Sri Divya is pairing with Siva again in Taana and hence we are looking for another appropriate face. Composing with Imman will start next month and we are planning to start shoots around the 15th of June, with an eye on releasing the movie in September. The same VVS technical crew will be involved in this film too"

 

Regarding the new buzz that this film has been titled 'Rajini Murugan', we hear that it is just a rumor. The team is looking for another apt title which would live up to the hype created by their first film's interesting title and also suit the script.
