Nasser's hair replacement idea

For his upcoming film Saivam, director Vijay had envisioned Nasser’s character as a bald senior citizen. This required a part of Nasser’s hair to be shaved completely for which the acclaimed thespian was initially reluctant because of his other ongoing film commitments.

Director Vijay arrived at a solution by summoning the services of senior make-up artist Pattanam Rasheed who prepared a wig resembling the original hairstyle of Nasser, which the actor could make use of for his other ongoing projects.

The extent of the cast and crews efforts are apparently on fine display, say those who have seen the rushes of the film. Saivam is director Vijay’s follow up to Thalaivaa and is being made under the banner of Think Big Studios.
