Jayam Ravi in a football tournament
Mar 23, 2014 It is a big day for the Vyasarpadi football team (STEDS) today. The team, which has emerged out as a successful football team in North Chennai is all set to compete in a football tournament that is to be held in the Nehru Stadium, Chennai, today, 23rd March, 2014.
It is said that a total of ten teams, including corporate teams are participating in the tournament that is to happen betweeen 10 AM and 6 PM today. The winner of the tournament will receive the trophy from the Bhoologam actor Jayam Ravi who will be present at the tournament.
Ravi's upcoming Bhoologam will feature him as a boxer from the North Chennai area and his presence in the tournament is an act of promoting sports and encouraging sportsmen in North Chennai.
