The grapevine is abuzz with an interesting scoop that Siva Karthikeyan and Tamannah would be pairing up for the first time in the actor's upcoming film with VVS director Ponram. We got in touch with director Ponram to know what exactly is going on.

"We are on the lookout for someone with a native South Indian face as the story is such. Tamannah wouldn't be suited to our story and we feel Samantha would be a really apt choice for our script and we are looking forward to having her on board. Nothing is official yet but we are trying to rope in Samantha.

I have meanwhile narrated the story to Siva Karthikeyan and he is really impressed with it. Once he is done with Taana, we will begin"
