Tamannah was recently voted the most desirable in the South according to a survey conducted by a leading daily. Reacting to the result Tamannah was considerably happy and said that the public voted not just for her appearance but also the manner in which she conducts herself in the industry. She believes that the number one ranking and all the adulation can be short-lived and that she can only focus on her job and continue to be good at what she does.

Tamannah also briefly spoke about her project in hand with Ajith, for which production has commenced. She says that the film directed by Siruthai Siva will release by the end of this year.
