''Vidya Balan is nothing in front of Nayanthara'', boasts director

Director Sekhar Kammula is a well known name in the Telugu film industry and the director has given good films like Happy Days, Godhavari and Leader to name a few. He is the man behind the remake of the much popular Hindi film Kahaani where Vidya Balan played the woman who goes on a mission in search of her missing husband.

Kammula is remaking Kahaani in Tamil and Telugu with Nee Engae En Anbae and Anamika as the respective titles. While the director has retained the original story, he has made a few changes to suit the audience here.

Talking about Nayanthara’s performance in the film, Sekhar says, “Nayanthara is an extraordinarily talented artist who has a tremendous fan base. People who have seen Kahaani, when they see my film, are sure to say Vidya Balan’s performance is nothing in front of Nayanthara. Such will be the depth of her histrionics”.  

Nee Engae En Anbae has music scored by Keeravani aka Maragadamani and the film is all set to release soon.
