''Simbu did not want Soori'', reveals Pandiraj

Comedians hold an important position in Tamil cinema and in the recent years, Santhanam is the uncrowned king of comedies in our films. Some hero-comedian combos are huge hits and the audience keeps looking for such team work. One such combo is Simbu-Santhanam which has entertained many.
 

However in the upcoming Pandiraj - Simbu film with Nayanthara, Soori has taken the place of Santhanam and when this topic was raised with the director, he admits that initially Simbu was not much in favor of Soori taking the place of Santhanam.
 

“Simbu was skeptical about his rapport with Soori. I convinced him saying that I had written the scenes keeping Soori in mind and that they would really rock”, the Pasanga director discloses. But Simbu and Soori hit it off from day one and their chemistry is something to be enjoyed on screen.

This film of Pandiraj is a most expected one, thanks to the lead pair of Simbu and Nayanthara.
