The Billa girl is on a signing spree. Nayanthara has agreed to do the remake of Sujoy Ghosh’s Hindi blockbuster, Kahaani that garnered accolades for Vidya Balan. The remake will be a Tamil- Telugu bilingual, claim reports. The film will be directed by Shekar Kammula, who helmed films like Happy Days, Leader and Life is Beautiful.

Kahaani is a female centric thriller, based on a pregnant lady’s search for her lost husband. The buzz is that Endemol India will put their money in this project.
 

Meanwhile, Nayanthara plays the lead in the Ajith-Visnhuvardhan project and Atlee’s Raja Rani alongside Arya and Jai. She has also done a cameo in Ethir Neechal and is awaiting the release of ‘Vaanam’ Krish’s Ongaram opposite Rana Daggubatti.
