Judge Venkatraman who was presiding over the court hearing of the petition filed by Raaj Kamal Films International to revoke the ban on Vishwaroopam has just announced that he will be coming to a decision only after watching the film for himself.

The judge will be watching the film on January 26^th and therefore has retained the ban on the film till the 28^th of January. It is said that he will be sharing his judgment on Monday, the 28^th of January.

This will come as a huge blow to the supporters who were eagerly awaiting a positive outcome for a showing this weekend.

Meanwhile Venkatraman had also ordered that in the interim, government should take adequate measures to curb video piracy or any other illegal means of viewing the film.
