Reports coming in from several quarters of South India are indicating that the local Police forces have entered many cinema halls during the screening of the film and directed the assembled audience to vacate their seats and exit the theatre.

The audience that had purchased tickets for the show were caught by surprise and were clearly dissatisfied when the interruption took place nearly after an hour had been screened. Similar incidents had reportedly transpired in Bangalore, Hyderabad and other parts of A.P such as Sulurpet.

Agencies in Malaysia are also reporting that there has been a temporary ban on the film after a section of protesters took to the streets objecting to the film.
