The great battle of July heats up
Jul 15, 2013Vishal's next film Pattathu Yaanai is gearing up for a release in the last weekend of July. The movie will hit the silver screens on 26th July alongside three other films namely Sonna Puriyadhu, Ponmaalai Pozhudhu and Thanga Meengal. Indie fan circles are abuzz with news about Thanga Meengal that is co-produced by Gautham Menon and directed by Ram of Kattradu Thamizh fame.
Pattathu Yaanai is produced by Michael Rayappan and directed by Boopathy Pandian who is behind other successful movies like Thiruvilayadal Arambam and Vishal's Malaikottai. Aishwarya Arjun debuts with the movie, the audio of which was released recently. The comedy action movie will have Santhanam for comic relief. The film is scored by Thaman.
With this action entertainer entering the race the competiton in the month of July has definitely heated up with the big ticket Maryan releasing first, this Friday 19th July.
