After the announcement of Vishwaroopam’s ban just days before its scheduled release, support has been pouring in from all quarters. The online space has been buzzing with comments and views on the matter, and a majority of the voices are of the opinion that the ban is unjustified.

Even the film fraternity has sounded their support for Kamal and are praying for Vishwaroopam’s release tomorrow, as announced. Prominent political figure K. Veeramani has issued a press statement requesting the Muslim outfits that have raised objection to sit down with Kamal Haasan and talk the matter to a logical and fruitful conclusion for everyone involved.

In the meanwhile a High Court hearing is presently taking place after a petition was filed by Kamal appealing for the ban to be overturned. The final judgement is expected to be announced later this evening.
