The response for Vishwaroopam in the advance booking counters across the theaters in Chennai city has been fabulous to say the least. All the shows for the first weekend have been sold out. Even early morning shows between 6 am and 9 am are much in demand. We have to see if theaters screen shows as early as 4 am and 5 am. Some theaters are also expected to screen shows on 24^th night towards midnight.

Kamal Haasan and all the various areas’ distributors and exhibitors must indeed be a happy lot seeing the initial response. Given the extra-ordinary hype and expectations for the movie, if the movie lives up to Kamal’s own lofty standards, then a long run at the box-office can be expected.
