As reported earlier, the Ethir Neechal team is set to reunite for another film after their successful outing earlier this year. The shoots of this new film would commence in December 2013 and most of the Ethir Neechal cast and crew would be retained for this flick too.

Dhanush's Wunderbar Films would be producing the film and the likes of Siva Karthikeyan, Sathish, Anirudh and Velraj would be involved in their respective capacities in this film too. A leading heroine is being negotiated to be a part of this film. This means Priya Anand wouldn't be a part of the film as the lead heroine.

The big buzz about the film is that Siva would be playing the role of a cop for the first time in his career. It must be noted that director Durai Senthil Kumar had approached Dhanush with a similar cop script a few months back and now we have to see if that very script is being executed with Siva on board.

After the superhit success of VVS, Siva Karthikeyan is a star in his own right and this graduation to playing a cop is the next step for this charismatic young man.
