Rumours were that Mani Ratnam has roped in Mohan Lal’s son Pranav for his next project. Sources close to Mani Ratnam have now confirmed that nothing of that sorts has happened until now. It is said that although the ace director has finished his next script, he hasn’t decided if it would be a Tamil or a Hindi film.

Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam and Suhasini Mani Ratnam are off to attend the 18th Busan International Film Festival, Korea, where Kadal will be screened on the opening day. Our sources inform us that the director will begin full-fledged work on his next project after he returns from the festival. For now, no discussions have happened regarding the cast and crew.
