''Priya Anand and I are just good friends'' - Satish

Actor Satish, who shot to fame with Ethir Neechal, is upbeat about all his future projects. The actor has the Vijay-Murugadoss project, Maan Karate, Vai Raja Vai, Sigaram Thodu, Deal, Velai Illa Pattadhari and many more in his pocket. In a brief chat with Behindwoods.com, the actor opened up about his character in each film, his relationship with his collegues in the industry and many more.
 

Priya Anand said she prefers to go for a movie with you. What’s cooking?
 

"(Laughs) We both are just good friends. Ethir Neechal has given me some extraordinary friends. That film is very sentimental for all of us, be it Siva Karthikeyan, Priya, Dhanush or Senthil."
 

So, can we expect you in all the upcoming Siva Karthikeyan films?

"Most probably, yes. People are approaching us together, like we are a package. We share a good wavelength and directors understand that. They give us our space for exploring. Few of the directors give us the liberty of modifying the script, of course not major changes. Siva and I had our part in the dialogues department of Ethir Neechal. We have also pitched in some ideas for Maan Karate."
 

You play Hero’s friend in all your films… Arent you getting bored?

Definitely not. The roles might be referred as ‘hero’s friend’, but each one of them has a different background and set up. For example, in Maan Karate I play an IT professional, a slum guy in Arun Vijay’s Deal and a childhood friend of Gautham Karthik in Vai Raja Vai. In Maan Karate, how the activities of Siva Karthikeyan affect me, will be a major highlight and a laugh riot. I have a lengthier role in this film than I had in Ethir Neechal.
 

Now that you are a star, What do you miss the most?

"I miss being with Crazy Mohan and team. I don’t get to perform much with them, nowadays."
 

The actor is shooting for Vai Raja Vai today and will be leaving for Kodaikanal tomorrow for the shoot of Maan Karate. He’ll join the Velai Illa Pattadhari team in November and the AR Murugadoss-Vijay project in the end of December.
