Siva Karthikeyan - Growing bigger with every passing movie
Sep 05, 2013The postponement in the release of Madha Gaja Raja has really benefited Siva Karthikeyan's Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (VVS) as the film will virtually be getting a solo release tomorrow, the 6th September, across the state in over 350 screens. On Saturday, the 7th September, Ramanarayanan's Arya Surya would be releasing to make hay during the long Vinayaga Chathurthi weekend.
In Chennai City, VVS would be the movie of choice in all the main big screens such as Sathyam, Santham, Devi, Abirami 7 Star, Kasi, Woodlands, Kamala Screen 1 and Sangam. Mayajaal would be screening 19 shows of the movie on each day in the weekend and the shows will increase based on the initial response.
The movie can be expected to rake in Siva Karthikeyan's biggest opening till date as the release volume is huge, the marketing push from the makers is high and Siva Karthikeyan's stardom is on the rise. To add to all this, is the long Vinayaga Chathurthi weekend till September 9.
