Junior AR Rahman to make his Tamil debut with Mani Ratnam ?

In a press conference to promote his upcoming concert in Chennai on October 2, AR Rahman spoke about his son Ameen. It is to be noted that the 12 year old boy had already crooned the song "NaNa" from "Couple's Retreat".

 

Rahman said, "There have been a lot of offers for my son to act as well as perform, but I would like him to concentrate on his studies now." However, the Oscar Winner hinted that Ameen might be singing in Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie, for which he would be providing the music score.

 

Meanwhile, the concert will have AR Rahman performing 50 of his hit songs, for about two and half hours, along with his regulars - Neeti, Karthik and Blaaze. It sure promises to be a thrilling experience for the legions of ARR fans.
